When people asked me what I wanted to be as a kid, I told them I wanted to be an "Inventor". Little did I know, that was an actually a career I could pursue.
When I got my hands on a few power tools in middle school, my life changed forever. The feeling of bringing something from an idea to reality was like no other.
As the education system pushed me to develop my STEM based skillset, I always continued to pursue my creative side. I didn't know it at the time, but I was following the design process, sketching, prototyping, testing, and revising my ideas, and enjoying the process throughout.
Now I direct my passion for design towards a positive outlet. I believe human centered design has the power to guide the world to a better place, and want to utilize my passions and skills to do so.
